White Oak Energy specializes in the development of oil and gas leases located throughout the state of Texas. Our primary focus is developing leases we have acquired in the Barnett Shale. We partner with experienced operators and industry professionals who have been involved in multiple drilling operations throughout the years specifically in the Barnett region. Our goal in every project is to maximize returns for our investors while providing tax incentives for participating in our drilling programs.
It’s been said the Barnett play is the largest natural gas field onshore in the United States. It covers over 5,000 square miles in Texas and is one of the most difficult to produce. However, with advancements in modern technology, such as fracking and horizontal drilling, we are able to produce more oil and gas than ever before. According to Oil and Gas journal some geologists believe there to be close to 30 trillion cubic feet of natural gas. The Biggest operators in recent years have been Devon Energy, Chesapeake Energy, XTO Energy, and EOG Resources.
